WSPYNews.com is reporting on the death of Trevor Carr, 27, as the result of the pickup he was driving colliding with a car at the intersection of Route 23 and Chicago Road at approximately 8:30 Friday morning. The accident scene was south of Waterman in DeKalb County.
Deputies with the DeKalb County Sheriff Department stated that Danielle Dunham, 36, of Yorkville was driving the car that hit the deceased. She had stopped at the intersection but then kept going. She was cited for failing to yield at a stop intersection. The news report did not say if she was injured.
Carr was towing a trailer with some 400 piglets, most of which were recovered.
The accident investigation is still going on and is being conducted by both the Sheriff’s Office and the DeKalb County Coroner’s office.
