KWQC is reporting from Henry County that Brett Meier, 20, residency unstated, was killed Saturday night in Johnson Sauk Trail State Park.
The Illinois State Police state that a small group of skateboarders were being pulled to the top of hills on Lakeshore Road by hanging onto the back of a truck.
Police say Meier was holding onto a truck in such a fashion when he fell off his board. Meier was declared deceased at the scene.
The Illinois State Police continue to investigate the accident.
