Ruben Diaz Injured in Construction Accident On Aqueduct Along The I&M Tow Path In Morris

WSPY News is reporting that Ruben Diaz, 50, of Joliet, was injured Friday morning in a workplace accident.

Fire Chief Tracey Steffes of Morris is quoted as saying that Diaz fell ten feet in the accident. He had been working on a slab of concrete while employed for a construction company doing work on the historic I&M Tow Path in Morris. The accident scene was at Nettle Creek along the Path.

Diaz was received by Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with a back injury.
