The EffinghamDailyNews.com is reporting that a St. Peter resident, Robert Snow, 42, was injured in a two vehicle crash at a Fayette County intersection on Tuesday.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:13 AM at Fayette County Road 900N and Fayette County Road 2550E.
The Illinois State Police say Alan Hill was proceeding north on 2250E in a 1995 GMC semitractor-trailer when he was hit at the intersection by Snow, travelling east bound on 2550E.
Hill was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
Snow was received by Fayette County Hospital for his injuries.
