NewsTrib.com is reporting that Paulette Hershey was killed and three others injured when a car crashed on I-39 south of Oglesby on Saturday afternoon.
The Illinois State Police say first reports were that a blown out tire may have prompted the crash, in which the vehicle rolled over several times. But the accident investigation continues.
Dead was Paulette Hershey. Injured was the driver of the vehicle, 27 year old Brent Gross of Rutland, along with two unidentified minors. Gross has been charged with improper lane usage.
