The PJStar.com is reporting on the deaths of two motorists in a head-on automobile car crash on County Road 700E, otherwise known as Carman Road in rural Henderson County.
The accident occurred on Friday night at approximately 11:30 PM.
An Illinois State Police news release states that Stronghurst resident, 28 year-old Nicholas Babcock, driving a Kia, veered across the center line of Carman Road, coming directly head-on to a Toyota driven by Nichole Harman, 45, of Burlington.
Both drivers were declared deceased at the accident scene by the Henderson County Coroner. No passengers were in either vehicle.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene and the accident remains under investigation.
