Motorcyclist Kenneth Ford Injured in Crash With Car on Perry Road in Kaneville Township

The Kane County Chronicle is reporting that Kenneth Ford, while driving his motorcycle, was seriously injured when a car driven by Jose Becerra ran into him.

A Kane County Sheriff’s Office press release states that the accident occurred on Perry Road between Carter and Miner on Friday. The authorities say that Rochelle resident Becerra was driving east on Perry when for unknown reasons, his vehicle veered into the westbound lane of traffic. At that same time, Batavia resident Ford was going west on Perry, thus colliding with Becerra’s vehicle.

Ford was transported to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva where he was received with potentially life-threatening injuries. The driver of the automobile, Becerra, did not suffer any injuries.

Becerra was cited for improperly using a lane.

The Kane County Sheriff’s Office deputies and members of the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team continue to investigate this accident.
