Oak Law Patch is reporting that motorcyclist Jose Manuel Perez Sanchez was killed Sunday morning in a crash with a car. The driver of that car has now been charged with felony DUI, specifically, a charge of aggravated driving under the influence causing death.
Authorities say that Sanchez, 24, of Blue Island, was traveling north on South Roberts Road when a car pulled into a driveway ahead of him. That car was driven by Bridgeview resident Jesus Solis, 45. The resulting crash killed Sanchez.
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office has now approved felony charges against Solis.
