The accident occurred on Route 126 and Ridge Road in Kendall County.
Illinois State Police authorities relate that they were called out to an accident scene at approximately six this morning.
Upon arrival, the ISP found, as stated in a preliminary report, that Mendota resident John Reuter, 41, was driving eastbound on Route 126 in a dump truck.
He is said to have run a stop sign at the intersection, striking the front driver’s side of a car in the process. The struck vehicle was a sedan being driven northbound on Ridge Road by Plainfield resident, 52 year-old Jeanne Rozanski.
Rozanski was received by a hospital with what are termed non-life threatening injuries. Reutner suffered no injuries but was ticketed for Disobeying a Traffic Control Device and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
