This is an update to an earlier story.
Chicago.CBSlocal.com is reporting on the death of construction worker Frank Caputo, 59, a week ago this Friday.
The certified flag man was hit by a car that some think was speeding at over eighty miles an hour. The car ran into a construction zone that Caputo was working in.
In a video report for CBS Local, Caputo’s brother pleaded with the public to make them aware of workers operating in construction areas.
The father of three was received by a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The current CBS Report had few other details.
The investigation into the accident continues and police are awaiting toxicology reports.
