According to WJBDRadio.com, three people suffered injuries in an accident in Kinmundy Tuesday night that involved two vehicles. The accident happened at approximately 8:30 PM.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies state that Alexandria Benson, 19, of Salem, failed to obey a stop sign at 4th Street and Route 37. As a result of her running the stop sign, she collided with a north bound vehicle traveling on Route 37. That vehicle was driven by Harold Barton, 50, of Kinmundy.
After the collision, Barton’s vehicle went off the roadway, struck a power pole and then a fence.
Three people were received by Salem Township Hospital. They included both drivers and a Harold Barton car passenger, Faith Barton, 44, of Kinmundy.
