WGLT.org is reporting that 43 year old Guy Favorite IV, of St. Charles, Montana, died Wednesday morning as the result of two semi-trucks colliding with each other. Two other people also died but their names have not yet been released.
A news released issued by Kathy Davis, the coroner for McLean County, stated that the investigation of the crash and the identification of the two others killed is continuing at this present time.
Authorities with the Illinois State Police say the accident happened on Interstate 29 at Mile Marker 4. This places the scene outside of Hudson north of Normal. Indications are that a semi-truck proceeding northbound crossed over the center line of the roadway and crashed into another truck in a head-on collision. The time was approximately 5:30 AM.
