The Daily-Chronicle is reporting that Eric Forbes, 40, of Hinckley, was injured in a two vehicle, head-on crash Tuesday morning in Hinckley. Authorities say he was the party initiating the crash, citing him for improper overtaking and reckless driving.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:50 AM on Tuesday on Route 30 in Hinckley. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s office states that Forbes tried to pass two cars at the same time. According to the Daily-Chronicle account, the accident scene was part of an area under a dense fog advisory.
Forbes was injured in the crash as was an unidentified 60 year old Big Rock woman. She was received by Presence Mercy Medical in Aurora and is said to possibly have a head injury.
