TheHerald-News.com is reporting on a truck and car crash that occurred this afternoon in rural Will County.
The Illinois State Police say they responded at 12:10 PM to Route 1, just south of Goodenow Road. There, they found an accident scene involving a a passenger vehicle, a semi, and two pickup trucks.
Authorities are saying it is a double fatality crash.
As of the time the ISP press release was issued, traffic was still being rerouted around the accident scene, no victims had been identified, and the accident remains under investigation.
