The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that Craig Collins was killed in an early Monday morning wreck in Dolton. Three other people suffered injuries.
Dolton police state that the accident occurred shortly after Midnight at 14th Street and Woodlawn.
Witnesses to the the tragedy maintain that a black BMW did not stop for a stop sign. As a result, the BMW collided with a black Chevrolet at the intersection.
Dolton resident Craig Collins, 27, was declared deceased at the accident scene. Collins’ passenger was received by a local hospital, as was the BMW driver and his passenger.
Authorities have not named the driver of the BMW but they do say he will be questioned upon release from the hospital. Alcohol and drugs are suspected.
