The Chicago Tribune is reporting that two people were injured in a Thursday evening car crash in Aurora.
Authorities say Diego Arevalo was proceeding in the west bound direction on Ferry Road when he tried turning left onto southbound Eola Road. At the time of his turn, the signal light was indicating yellow.
While this was happening, Bradley Kuhter was traveling eastbound on Ferry Road, coming up on Eola. He went to turn but Arevalo’s vehicle was upon him. Although Kuhter attempted to avoid the oncoming vehicle, he was unable to do so, and in fact Kuhter’s vehicle flipped over from the severity of the collision.
Both men were transported to hospitals for their injuries.
Arevalo was cited for failing to yield.
No city of residence or age of either man was given.
