The DailyHerald.com is reporting that charges may be pending against the driver of a Mercedes who caused a three vehicle accident Wednesday night in Schaumburg.
The local police department says a preliminary inquiry of the accident reveals that a Mercedes proceeding west on the 500 block of East Schamburg Road struck the back of a Mazda minivan, throwing the Mazda off the roadway and into a tree. An Acura sedan was also hit.
The Mazda driver was 41 year old Amando Chavez. He died after being received by Alexia Brothers Medical Center in the Village of Elk Grove.
Possible charges are pending against an adult driver involved in a three-vehicle crash in Schaumburg Wednesday night that killed a 41-year-old man driving another vehicle.
Police say about the offending driver that the subject is an adult. No further details were forthcoming. All reasons for the accident are under consideration.

This is an update. According to the Daily Herald, Feroz Q. Khan, 25, was ordered held on $1.25 million bail Friday by Cook County Judge Joseph Cataldo. He is charged with aggravated DUI causing a death, in the case of the death of Amanda Chavez.
